Meetings are held

“FROM THE SENIOR REGENT" Well, Ladies, here
we are. In the middle of another hurricane season, with our fingers crossed
that we will not have any more disasters like last season. Labor Day is coming
up on September 5—that will be a great day of celebration at the Lodge.
The men will be providing the meat, and we have been asked to bring covered
dishes. It should be a great day and good times had by all who participate. Do not forget— As I have said many
times, it does not cost a thing to say “Thank You” and it means
an awful lot. We should all say “Thank You” more often. Haven’t you
ever thought up the greatest way to make money? A fund raiser that topped
anything else you ever thought of??? We would love to have your suggestions.
The more money we can make, the more our Chapter can help support the Lodge.
Even if some one has an idea for a joint men/women function to raise money!!
Come to a Business Meeting and bring it up for discussion, or ask to come
before an Officer’s Meeting to present your idea. You would be
surprised how many great ideas have come out of just a little thought and
effort. P.S. Richard
(Castle, that is), thank you for your help setting up for Thursday and Friday
dinners for the women. Some of us really appreciate it!!!!

First
of all. I would like to apologize to those “Birthday Coworkers”
that were not listed in the bulletin last month. “To err is human.”
However, because of a new listing in the computer that is not completely
accurate as yet (missing names, dates, etc.), I take the birthdays off the
computer and do not check each and every card on the file to make sure I have
not missed one. SORRY!!! As
far as the new computer is concerned, any transition takes time to perfect.
Mooseheart is working on the problems that have come up on this new program.
They are being addressed, and we will have it corrected within the next month
or so. Thais is only Phase I, so please be patient—we will get there. JUST
A LITTLE REMINDER—WHEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM, PLEASE BRING YOUR
CONCERNS TO YOUR BOARD OF OFFICERS. WE MEET ON A MONTHLY BASIS. ANYONE CAN
ATTEND THESE MEETINGS IF THEY CHOOSE TO DISCUSS ANY PROBLEM SHE MIGHT HAVE. IF
IT IS A PROBLEM THAT CONCERNS THE CHAPTER, IT SHOULD NOT BE DISCUSSED IN THE
SOCIAL QUARTERS. Also,
remember your dues will be handled different. I can no longer accept your
dues in the office (unless there is a problem). Your dues can be paid with a
credit card or by mailing your check into Mooseheart. I can no longer issue a
“Temporary Card”. All lost cards have to be replaced by
Mooseheart. If
you have any questions, please feel free to contact me in my office at 902-1059. "I HAVE FUN AT
